All types of artists are welcome to attend this workshop that focuses on using metal in jewelry, as the techniques you will learn can be used in all types of art. If you’ve ever wanted to explore the process of using & coloring metal – this one is for you! Explore metal while creating a unique piece of jewelry!
Mary K will cover alternative surface techniques to achieve color, texture, and unique surfaces on copper sheeting & brass accents. You’ll experiment with torch firing, patinas, embossing, colored pencils, nail polish and many other fun and quick techniques and cover cold connections – eyelets, rivets, and nuts & bolts.
